Program III
Practical Application of Interrogation and Persuasion Methods
This two-day course allows the officer an opportunity to actually practice their interrogation abilities by way of classroom interrogation scenarios. Training simulates field, stationhouse, and traffic stop interrogation situations. Each participant receives an evaluation from the instructor and supportive feedback from other course members. Participants also analyze videotaped interrogations and participate in a candid roundtable discussion regarding involuntary statements and false confession.
This is a demanding course. It should only be attended by those who wish to take their interrogation skills to higher level of success. The class size is limited to 13 participants due to the training’s practical aspect.
